Floyd Shivambu, co-founder and vice president of the Economic Freedom Fighters, is a politician who also happens to be a big football fan. The current champions, Mamelodi Sundowns, faced off against TS Galaxy yesterday.
Referee didn’t think twice about sending Bongani Zungu off the pitch after he caught former Kaizer Chiefs player Bernard Parker above the ankle, shattering Parker’s leg.
Sadly, the Mamelodi Sundowns star didn’t apologise and instead maintained his innocence. Floyd Shivambu, vice president of the Economic Freedom Fighters, reacted negatively to the news.
No way can we tolerate this! This isn’t football anymore! Does Parker or his family know where Zungu lives?, asks Floyd Shivambu, vice president of the EFF.
If you want to incite violence, don’t get into football; instead, I’ll vote for you in politics. Greed is not always a bad thing, and this guy was scheduled to retire a long time ago.
This is totally unacceptable! It’s no longer football! Does Parker or his family know the address of Zungu? https://t.co/2WIwILn2Tl
