Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa has reportedly secured a second term after emerging victorious in the recent Presidential elections. However, his win has been met with widespread discontent among citizens from both Zimbabwe and South Africa. Many believe that the elections were not conducted fairly, casting doubt on the legitimacy of Mnangagwa’s victory.

African National Congress (ANC) secretary-general, Fikile Mbalula, took to Twitter to extend congratulations to President Mnangagwa for his triumph. However, Mbalula’s tweet triggered a wave of backlash and criticism from Twitter users who opposed his show of support for Mnangagwa. The online response highlighted the deep-seated concerns over the electoral process and the credibility of the election results.

The controversy surrounding Mnangagwa’s victory underscores the division and skepticism prevalent among the populace. As calls for transparency and fairness grow louder, it remains to be seen how the situation will unfold in the coming days, and whether efforts will be made to address the concerns raised by those who doubt the legitimacy of the election outcome.

Viva President Mnangwangwa 👊👊👊🎊🎊🎊
