It is with profound regret that I address the nation on the passing of Tshengisile Ngwane. Our hearts have remained broken since learning that Tshengisile was brutally killed by the father of her children.
According to the report, Tshengisile Ngwane, who is 27 years old, was murdered on July 17, 2023, by the father of her children. Tshengisile was allegedly beaten before being fatally stabbed by the offender. According to reports, Tshengisile just received her degree from the University of Johannesburg while still living with her twins. The culprit has at least been taken into custody.
Tshengisile’s parents, according to various accounts, are currently sobbing for their daughter. Family members verified that their daughter was in an abusive relationship and that she never spoke about it because she was trying to protect her relationship for the sake of her two children.
We’re just wondering why most of these partners always wait until these females are in their final year of university or about to graduate before murdering them. Is it because they are fair that once they graduate, they will easily discard them because they will be self-sufficient?
Women must learn to report abusive relationships. Either they report to their parents or the police station; at the very least, they must do something rather than sit and be slaughtered.
Tshengisile Ngwane’s death is a great loss, not just to his family and her children but to all of us. Although no words can truly lessen the collective grief and loss, his family must know that they are in our thoughts and prayers.
