Many celebrities whom are settled in life are known of associating themselves with the African National Congress. The likes of media personality and singer Somizi Mhlongo used to associate themselves with the African National Congress and even got some gigs.

Now that next year the government of the Republic of South Africa will host the General Elections, many political parties have started campaigning and people also start talking on which political party they are running after.

Media personality Somizi Mhlongo says he will vote for Inkatha Freedom Party next year. The Inkatha Freedom Party is known to have a strong base in KwaZulu-Natal province than at any other province.

It was unexpected for him to announce that he will be voting for the Inkatha Freedom Party over the African National Congress and Economic Freedom Fighters or even Democratic Alliances.
