In recent years, you probably got tired of hearing the name Jacob Zuma whenever you turn on the TV or radio, or even when you want to read news on your phone.

His name has been used to sell news, run certain propaganda, dodge a bullet, and so on.

Even today, such things still happen, where the likes of CityPress and News24 still write propaganda using his name, according to Twitter users.

The article below probably made the admin of News24’s Twitter account to hate his job when the Twitter users rejected their story of President Jacob Zuma’s supporters and Operation Dudula being linked to the ongoing issue of burning trucks.

While Operation Dudula does actions that one can see as Xenophobic, they are not Zuma’s supporters.

They support the current administration of President Cyril Ramaphosa and have been receiving support from some top members of the ANC and have worked with some of them.

A confidential report has named xenophobic supporters of former president Jacob Zuma as instigators of the truck torchings in a number of provinces this week. | @City_Press https://t.co/Z0YNUVIVMh

But why link Zuma to sell a fake story? Zuma is currently in Russia. They can’t write anything negative about the current president since it will ruin his image, especially with the fact that we are now just a few months away from the elections.

For Cyril to be seen as a good guy, they still use the previous president to polish his image.

The fact that Cyril has been our President for over 5 years still means nothing.

The fact that our infrastructure, including railway lines and stations has been destroyed nationwide under his leadership still don’t point back to Cyril.

The facts that billions of Rands that was meant to help us during the so-called pandemic went missing and no one is being held accountable for it still mean nothing.

The list goes on and on, with load shedding becoming a daily occurrence.

But then, we’ll blame the previous president for all of this. The crime rate going out of hands is because of Zuma and his supporters.

Maybe one day they will have the guts to tell South Africans that they are hired to sell propaganda.
