For years, illegal immigrants and foreign crime syndicates have used South Africa as a means to produce and traffic their drugs to other parts of the world due to the lawlessness and insecurity in the country.
Earlier this year, South Africa was blacklisted after investigations revealed that local spaza shops across the country are being used to sponsor terrorist activities in warring African countries. This accusation has finally been proven true by Xolani and the Sizokthola crew.
In a major drug bust that took place yesterday night, Xolani and his crew exposed an Ethiopian national for trafficking a variety of drugs, including crystal meth and nyaope.
The suspect, who has not been named, was operating a spaza shop as a front for his drug business. According to reports, the suspect was found with several kilos of drugs, as well as an illegal firearm. He is facing charges of drug trafficking and possession of a firearm.
This bust has sparked outrage on social media, with many users calling for the suspect to be severely punished. Others have expressed concern about the growing drug problem in South Africa, and have called for more to be done to address it.
The issue of drug dealing in South Africa is gradually getting out of hands, and this arrest will only lead to more resentment against foreign nationals. Xolani Khumalo is a national asset and should be protected at all cost because some drug dealers might try to end him.
