It’s upside-down in the case of a gangster who was arrested in Tanzania and his lover, Thabo Bester, who was sent back to the local prison in Gauteng.
Thabo Bester’s lawyer was accused of assault and attempted rape by Singanyela’s bracelets.
Tshireledzo Ndou is suspected of beating a 34-year-old woman, then dragging her to a bedroom where he tried to undress her to rape her.
Twitter showing the opening of the case of Tshireledzo Ndou, Thabo BesterUNDou’s lawyer, was released on bail of R1 000 with terms and conditions saying he must not meet the suspect no matter what happens. Ndou is also represented by Jeremia Pela, who is working with him in the case of Thabo Bester, and Pela is facing his own legal problems as he is involved in a fraud case affecting a tender in Bloemfontein.
Ndou took over to represent Bester after the prisoner escaped from Mangaung prison, and was abandoned by his first lawyers.
Ndou will return to court on June 21, the day before Thabo Bester’s appearance. He will continue to represent Bester and boycott the start of his trial which will last a week between June 26 and June 30, this year.
