It seems like being associated with Thabo Bester comes with some bad luck or legal troubles. A few people have already been arrested as they are alleged to have been involved in assisting him to escape from prison. His instructing attorney is reportedly also facing some legal troubles.

Details surrounding his legal woes have allegedly been revealed by police. SABC reporter, Chrizelda Lewis, has shared some excerpts providing details around the alleged attempted rape and assault charge against the attorney.

“Here are police details around the attempted rape and assault charge against Bester’s instructing attorney, Tsireledzo Ndou. He is back in court on June 21, a day after his client (Bester) makes his next appearance.” Chrizelda Lewis shared the excerpts on social media.

According to the excerpts, a case of attempted rape with an additional charge of common assault was opened at Bainsvlei Police Station on 13 March 2023 at about 17:00. The report indicates that the victim and complainant is a 34-year-old female, who visited the 27-year-old suspect at his unit of an estate on Wednesday, 08 March.

The victims allege that, Bester’s instructing attorney dragged her to the bedroom and forcefully attempted to undress her. There are also allegations of the suspect assaulting the victim before she managed to flee the scene, where she left her shoes behind.

He was arrested on the 25th of March and appeared at the Bloemfontein Magistrate Court on the 27th of March. He was granted bail and a protection order against him. Furthermore, he is expected to appear in court on the 21st of June.

It is ironic how the man who is a legal representative of Thabo Bester who is sometimes referred to as a “Facebook Rapist” is facing a case of attempted rape. What kind of coincidence is this one?
