TROUBLE: Julius Malema leads Patrice Motsepe astray?

If there is one thing that EFF leader Julius Malema knows how to do well, is get the public speaking.

Over the past few years the EFF has lost millions of supporters, due to Julius Malema’s views on the open border policy. According to Malema, Africa would be better United as one, with a single currency, a single economy, and being led by a single government. Sentiments expressed by icons such as Gaddafi.

Recently Malema threw multi-millionaire and Mamelodi Sundowns owner Patrice Motsepe under the bus, after he posted his video on his Twitter where he concurs with the open border policy- sharing the same sentiments as Malema.

“My name is Patrice, there is someone in the DRC named Patrice. When TP Mazembe does well, all of us become happy. Those of us who know our history, know that we are all one people. These borders are artificial, we are all one people. Tell those who are ignorant living in South Africa. King Swati is from abroad.”

” The King of the Sotho People, is in Lesotho but there are Sotho People in South Africa. The borders are artificial. The borders are separating families. The same languages we use here, are used in other African countries as well.” Said Patrice Motsepe.

South Africa is currently riddled with many issues, hence the open border policy does not appeal to them. The unemployment is at an all time high, and the “foreigners” are undercutting them for jobs in their own country. If Julius Malema does not go back on his open border policy, 2024 could be another year that he falls short; and fails to secure the presidential chair.
