Earlier today, His Excellency President of the Republic of South Africa and African National Congress Cyril Matamela Ramaphosa received by His Excellency President Andrzej Duda of the Republic of Poland at the Presidential Palace for a courtesy call.

President Cyril Ramaphosa’s security personnel and a crew of SA journalists have been stuck for hours at Warsaw Chopin Airport in Poland.

Unfortunately There was a standoff in Warsaw as Polish authorities were seen refusing to let South Africa security personnel disembark. General Wally Rhoode, head of the Presidentual Protection Service, has accused the Poles of sabotaging President of the Republic of South Africa and African National Congress Cyril Matamela Ramaphosa’s safety, and of being racist.

General Rhoode briefed the media on the steps of a charter plane, detailing the refusal of the Poles to allow the South Africans off the plane. He says the Poles have insisted on strip searching the South Africans. “This is racist, no one ever orders this,” he said.
