Graduation day is a day of festivity, and for most guardians, it is one of the proudest days of their lives One Port Elizabeth father kept down tears as he acknowledged his late little girl’s certification from Nelson Mandela College.

The snapshot of torment was felt throughout the country, and the family got a flood of adoration and backing.


The day their kid finishes school is a fantasy for most guardians. For one father, this festival was mixed. On Thursday, Nelson Mandela College (NMU) graduates looked as Thanduxolo Sontiki got a degree for his late little girl.

The dad’s enduring was felt all over the country. Sochuma Sande Sontiki and her family were denied of what ought to have been a snapshot of win.


Sochuma, just 22 years of age, died after a concise disease, just four months shy of accepting her certification.

When she kicked the bucket, the brilliant young woman was at that point a possibility for a Four-year education in liberal arts testament.
