Former Eskom Chief Executive Officer André de Ruyter on his explosive interview on e.TV said that corruption at Eskom was politically connected and it is the center of Eskom problems.

During his visit to Kusile Power Station some months ago, Minister of Electricity Dr Kgosientsho Ramokgopa claimed that the parastatal’s problems emanated from “technical problems”, not corruption. He said the solution to the problems would be found in the workers.

Now all is changing, and he’s going back to what the former Eskom Chief Executive Officer Andre De Ruyter said.

Minister of Electricity Dr Kgosientsho Ramokgopa says that organised crime with links to the notorious KwaZulu-Natal construction mafia has infiltrated Eskom’s procurement division, with insiders and outsiders working together to defraud the company.
People are now grilling him since at first he was confident that corruption is not at the center of the Eskom challenges.

Comments:

” Kgosientsho, just the other day you said there was no corruption.”

” de Ruyter is being proven right everyday.”

“The same guy who rubbished Andre de Ruyter’s claims of corrupt practices at Eskom.”
