The Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema has today left many people impressed with the way he handled an interview with a BBC journalist. Video clips of the interview are making the rounds on social media, and people are praising Malema for how well-spoken he was.
The interview included questions about both local and international politics. In one of the clips, Malema responded to a question about load shedding and warned that there will be lawlessness when the electricity grid collapses. “Let the grid collapse and let’s see what is going to happen.” Malema seems to be convinced that the electricity grid will collapse, and the people will revolt.
Some of his supporters claimed that “President Julius Malema warned about the coming revolution a long time ago. It looks like we are at the edge of the edge.”
“Great interview to watch. The BBC Hard talk interviewer tried to corner Julius Malema in his interview, and Malema clarified issues well. Nothing took him by surprise. CIC showed why it’s important to be led by a leader who is well-informed about domestic and international affairs.” Melanin Mmaps said.
Mhleli claimed that after watching the interview, he apparently went to join the party online. “After watching this interview, immediately I went to join the party online. My conscious couldn’t let me procrastinate anymore.”
