Nathi Sithole, an ANC member in Kwa-Zulu Natal province has argued that former health minister, Zweli Mkhize is not innocent as some would like to portray him.

He was responding to the utterances made by another ANC comrade who said Zweli Mkhize is a victim of “greedy sellouts”. The ANC member said this does not sit well with her knowing that Mkhize was used by some comrades for their selfish interests.

“Zweli Mkhize was a victim of greedy sell outs. And that does not sit well with me to this day,” said the ANC comrade. Nathi Sithole, however could not agree with these sentiments. He said Zweli Mkhize cannot be portrayed as innocent in this matter.

Sithole adds that the only difference between Mkhize and other comrades, is that he comes from ANC structures where he is well grounded.

He is just another greedy sellout himself but at least he is an ANC person ,he comes from the structures of the movement

“He is just another greedy sellout himself, but at least he is an ANC person. He comes from the structures of the movement,” said Nathi Sithole.

The ANC heavyweight, Zweli Mkhize has been quiet. It is not clear what he is up to these days. Some speculate that the digital vibes scandal really tarnished his image, and also had a huge impact on his political career.
