Sbusiso Buthelezi, a disgraced former radio host for Ukhozi FM, is the target of a family from Jabavu in Nquthu in the KwaZulu Natal Midlands after he failed to keep his commitment to reimburse the family for an estimated R600 000 in January. The family has now lodged a complaint with the infamous Isikebhe organization in the hopes that they will assist them in recovering their hard-earned money.

As a result of Buthelezi’s hollow promises and current refusal to return his calls, claims Gcinumuzi Msibi, he complained to Isikebhe. “There are 11 persons in my family, therefore we decided to invest all of our funds in his Abombuso Poultry Investment Group in the expectation that we would be secure for the rest of our lives.

We only want our money back because he let us down. Currently, he is avoiding us, Msibi stated. He added, “We paid him all our hard-earned money in the hope that it would make our lives better forever. Buthelezi is a swindler and should not be trusted. I’ve heard tales of how he robbed people in addition to the fact that he conned us. Isikebhe was Msibi’s sole chance, he claimed. He remarked, “Isikebhe will make him repay us and make sure he never steals from people while he’s a public figure.”

When Buthelezi’s family learned that he was wanted, Msibi said that the initial encounter with Isikebhe happened on April 9 in the Esigubudwini township. He wasn’t there, but his family was. The announcement that we have filed a case against Buthelezi was made in front of his aunt, uncle, and a local induna. He vowed to get me after giving me my money when he phoned me later that day. His threats don’t concern me, he declared.
