Football fans sometimes get carried away and allow their love for their teams cloud their judgement and reality, when one person tells the honest truth, they attack him and call him all sorts of names when he is actually telling the truth, just like Kaizer Chiefs fans attacked the team’s former player Daniel Cardoso who said the team will not win anything while playing with inexperienced players.

He slammed coach Arthur Zwane for getting rid of old players including himself and a couple of others suggesting that to win something he should not have axed all senior players.

Social media was buzzing a few days ago after reports emerged about Cardoso’s utterances, most Chiefs fans were not happy with what he said and they called him a bitter ex, even the management responded through Kaizer Motaung Jr, but the truth has to be told, after what we saw on Thursday when they played against Chippa United, surely even Amakhosi faithful agreed with him following that Mduduzi Tshabalala’s open net miss.

The Naturena based outfit struggled to find a goal when they travelled to the Nelson Mandela Bay in the Eastern Cape Province, they needed to win so bad to keep up with SuperSport United and Orlando Pirates whom they are contesting for the 2nd position finish on the DStv Premiership log, but Tshabalala proved that Cardoso was spot-on when he missed a clear cut scoring opportunity much to the disappointment of the masses who packed the stadium.

The youngsters connected with a beautiful cross from Christian Saile who was a handful of the right side, with the goalkeeper out of position, instead of scoring, Tshabalala packed composure and experience he ballooned the ball over the cross bar, that was literally the easiest ball to convert, but he rushed everything and ended up missing the target.
