The family of Viwe Hebe (41) is desperately searching for him.The father was last seen at a lodge in Soweto and it is still not clear what happened to him thereafter as they have not heard from him since. His mother Zoleka Hebe is pleading with residents to help find her son who was last seen in Extreme Lodge, Diepkloof with his friends on the evening of March 31.

The disappearance has left a huge pain in her heart as she fears the worst might have happened to the family man.

She is calling upon those who might have seen him lately to contact her or their nearest police station.

Zoleka who is currently in their home village in the Eastern Cape says she was shocked when she tried to reach Viwe on his cell phone days after he went missing, and she then asked his girlfriend who was also trying to reach him to go check up on him where he is renting in Dlamani but Viwe was nowhere to be found.

She divulged that her son has never gone missing and he always communicates with his family each time he goes out.

She is worried that his two kids, aged 9 and 13, might become emotionally traumatized because of the disappearance.

“I feel so helpless because he is my only child. I cannot even eat without thinking where he is or if he is safe. We are really pleading with the community to please assist us as we look for him because I am really not coping and so are his children,” Zoleka said as she broke down.

She added that her sugar diabetes levels have also risen as a direct result of the disappearance of her son. She is confident that he will be found pretty soon.
