As the plot continues to thicken in Thabo Bester’s prison escape, with the alleged assistance of his partner, Nandipha Magudumana, local celebrities have distanced themselves from the medical doctor and socialite.
Dr Nandipha Magudamana is a celebrity doctor. She used to be a special guest at many high profile events and got to rub shoulders with different celebrities. After her scandal on her involvement in the Thabo Bester prison escape, pictured of her with celebrities started making rounds. In some of the pictures, she was spotted with former Miss Universe, Zozibini Thunzi. The two were previously spotted in different events together.
Because of her involvement in several scams, people are doubting anyone who has association with Dr Nandipha. Now some are even questioning Zozibini’s crown. “I always knew it. Something was off about her Miss Universe crown. Something was very fishy”, a Twitter user said.
People are saying this because of Thabo Bester’s history with beautiful young women and pageants. Beautiful young women in Durban, Johannesburg and Cape Town, who had modelling aspirations, were his prime targets.
When Zozibini was crowned Miss South Africa back in 2019, Dr Nandipha was there as well. The two seemed so well acquainted as they posed for pictures together. But in my opinion, them posing together doesn’t mean Zozibini was part of the infamous doctor’s shenanigans.
Zozibini Tunzi started her pageantry career in 2017 when she was recognized as one of the Top 26 semifinalists of MISS SOUTH AFRICA 2017. In order to compete in the MISS SOUTH AFRICA 2019 competition, she returned to pageantry.
Zozibini Thunzi paved her own way into the world of pageantry. When her career started budding, Thabo Bester was already in prison. There is no way he could have been involved in Zozibini’s crowning. What people are saying is only based on association. It is true that there is power in association! Who you rub shoulders with eventually affect your life in many ways unimaginable. How would Zozibini have known that Dr Nandipha was going to turn out as a hardcore criminal?
