Elections are arround the corner and we are already witnessing a mushroom of new political parties.
A new political party will be launched in Durban today. The Azanian Revolutionary Congress (AZARCO) will be led by Bheki Ngubane and its founding ideals include pan- Africanism, political and economic emancipation of the people of SA and the upholding of the constitution. According to Ngubane, Azanian revolutionary congress (Azarco) is best available solution for Azanians (South Africans) in the 2024 general elections. AZARCO in its truest stance exists to give its people that kind of freedom. “Truth be told, you cannot liberate a hungry person. Which is where our journey begins. We would not only like to see every second household being fed but we would also like to see them using their own skills to create opportunities for themselves and feed their families”, says Ngubane.
The party was formed a year ago by Ngubane who is not so popular. His social media pages have less than 100 followers and Googledoes not know much about him. We wonder how much influence he has and if his political party will even amount to be reckoned as a drop in the ocean.
Too many political parties are being formed and none of them seemingly achieving what’s the policy of their political parties says. It’s all a scam. Black leaders and their egos, he could have joined one of the parties with same ideals. We have more than three political parties that subscribe to that. Couldn’t they find a home in one or they want to be Party Presidents and SGs, TGs and the likes? I mean PAC and BLF could use some brilliant minds, if of course they believe they’re brilliant enough to lead masses.
Prophetically, this morning I was thinking that in 2024 there will be even more new political parties due to factionalism, lack of inter-party democracy, and tolerance. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with such evolution. Democracy is a constitutional imperative in our RSA.
Read what others are saying about the launch of yet another political party in the country:
@ivankavan Ballot paper? It will be the ballot book, you’ll take it home and study it, bring it back after 3 days. For security reasons, the cross will be put at the voting booth.
@KimbiliVuyani Black ppl will never be united with all these political parties.
@Gibsi I wonder how many pages ballot paper will be considering there might be independents too.
Do you think we need more political parties in South Africa, or for the leaders to unite and form a different structure to government us?
