Along with his longtime friend Tebello Motsoane, also known as Tibz, AKA was shot.

His passing was verified by Tony and Lynn Forbes, the parents of the “Jika” hitmakers.

Since the news first surfaced late last night, condolence messages have been flooding in as the public adjusts to the passing.

Following the demise of a close friend, rapper Da L.E.S canceled a number of scheduled performances.

He also decided to postpone his all-white event that was scheduled for February 11, 2023.

Boity Thulo, a rapper and entrepreneur, posted three pictures on Instagram with the description “From the beginning till the very end,” including a picture of AKA, Tibz , and a throwback of the two of them.

Somizi Mhlongo, a media figure, submitted a black photograph on his Instagram account and expressed his emotions in the comment.

And recently, the one and only ” Notha Baloyi ” broke his silence regarding the rapper’s passing by posting a brief clip pleading with ” Durban ” to find us important answers about who ordered the hit and who fired the shot ,and he went on to naming a few of his suspects ,Below is the original brief clip.
