“Dear Zuma, Please Don’t Tell us to Campaign and Vote ANC in 2024” – Phuti Writes to Zuma

Phuti Abraham is one of the most loyal supporters of the former president, Jacob Zuma. He recently dropped a message, urging Jacob Zuma not to plead with them to vote for the ANC in 2024. He noted that the people have suffered a lot during the last few years from load shedding, unemployment, poverty and a lot more. Recall that during the last local government elections, some of Jacob Zuma’s aggrieved supporters and followers attempted to vote against the ANC until Jacob Zuma intervened and made a video broadcast. This happened when he was arrested and incarcerated. Phuti wrote, “Dear President Zuma; Please don’t tell us to Campaign and Vote ANC in 2024. The ANC failed to remove Ramaphosa, and we are suffering daily since Ramaphosa was ANC and South Africa President. The pain we feel daily by Load shedding, high costs of living, and the high rate of crime is unbearable. We need Change, and Cyril it is”.

Many people, especially those members of the ANC from KwaZulu-Natal who are aggrieved with the outcome of the Nasrec are beginning to join Carl Niehaus RET political movement. If Carl is not taken, and he decides to form a political party out of it, he may end up taking several ANC members with him. If this happens, the ANC voters will be further reduced. Already, many political analysts have argued that the unprecedented load shedding will affect the ANC votes negatively. They have also predicted that ActionSA and the Patriotic Alliance led by Gayton McKenzie will take a chunk of voters from the ANC. These voters will be those who obviously want the government to do something urgently about the influx of more illegal immigrants and Undocumented foreigners into the country. All these no doubt would affect the ANC. Another social media wrote, “Before 1 November 2021 local government elections, Jacob Zuma Foundation tweeted this. Yes, he vowed to vote for the Ramaphosa-led ANC. This is proof that we have no Zuma or Ramaphosa problem…. We Have An ANC Problem”.
