Just a few days into the new year, and already there are many people who started off the year in a tragic way. Many people have lost their loved ones, and some due to the high crime rate in the country have lost their loved ones to murder. It has become a sad situation that death has the ability to visit people so soon and unexpectedly. Death results in so much heartbreak and leaves people with questions that require answers, but at the end of the day, they will not receive the answers required.

South Africans are still in shock over the death of a well-known traditional healer, or Sangoma, who was allegedly murdered in front of her tavern together with her boyfriend. Gogo Manzini was one of the best known traditional healers in the country and gained a lot of attention on social media.

She has also appeared on one of the most watched television news channels, etv, known as the morning show, giving people consultations. Gogo Manzini has always been open about her journey as a traditional healer, but she did not let that dim her light or break her away from who she was.

She was also a young woman from Pretoria who enjoyed going out to party, and she was a dancer and knew how to entertain people. It is not clear yet what the motive behind her death was, but Gogo Manzini was shot in the face twice by unknown suspects after she returned from a party. A video of her laying dead in a pool of blood trended on social media, which left many of the people who supported her very heartbroken. May her soul rest in peace.
