The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) has confirmed a significant leadership shift after its Gauteng Provincial Chairperson, Dunga Leko, officially resigned from his position as a proportional representation (PR) councillor in the City of Ekurhuleni.

During his tenure in Ekurhuleni, Leko held several key leadership roles.
