Amapiano artist and entrepreneur Dudu “Lady Du” Ngwenya is in a new relationship with Afro House DJ Kashief, also known as DJ Hectic, who also serves as her road manager and performance DJ.
Friends say the couple have been dating for over a year and now live together. They describe Kashief as quiet and grounded, balancing Lady Du’s bold public persona.
The relationship became more visible recently when Lady Du celebrated Kashief’s birthday with gifts and a cake.
This new chapter follows her previous engagement to actor Andile Mxakaza, which ended in 2021. At the time, both cited personal differences and outside pressures, including claims of harassment and witchcraft, as reasons for their separation.
Lady Du emphasized that the split was mutual and asked for public respect for their privacy.
