Armindo Joaquim Pacula, the second suspect arrested in the murder of DJ Warrick “Warras” Stock, has reportedly confessed to the crime, telling investigators he was hired for the killing.

According to police sources, Pacula stated he was promised R25,000 but received only R7,000 after shooting Stock outside a Johannesburg building in December. He allegedly returned to the scene wearing overalls to confirm the victim had died, then fled to Mozambique two days later.

Pacula reportedly told police that hunger forced him to return to South Africa, where he was later arrested in Primrose. He also claimed he had consulted a traditional healer in Mozambique who assured him he would not be caught.

Investigators say Pacula implicated his co-accused, Victor Majola, as the person who sent him to carry out the shooting. Majola was arrested earlier and remains in custody after being denied bail.

A third suspect is still at large, and police say the investigation is ongoing.

Pacula and Majola are expected to face charges of murder and conspiracy to commit murder when the case returns to court.
