A 33-year-old man, reportedly a DJ, was fatally assaulted on Saturday following allegations of theft involving a Savanna cider at a tavern in Winnie Mandela Zone 8, Thembisa. Preliminary reports suggest that the individual was approached by a group of young men at the tavern following allegations that he had consumed an intoxicating beverage without settling the bill.
