KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner, Lieutenant General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, is scheduled to appear before a Parliament Ad-Hoc Committee.
The appearance is expected to address pressing issues of crime and policing in the province. This comes after Mkhwanazi gave significant testimony at the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry, where he made allegations of political interference in police work.
The parliamentary committee will likely question him on these matters and the overall state of safety and security in KwaZulu-Natal.
