Award-winning composer Lebohang “Lebo M” Morake has accused his former business partner, Sibo Mhlungu, of misappropriating R24 million from his accounts.
A review of Morake’s bank statements allegedly revealed multiple transfers into Mhlungu’s business and personal accounts. Morake said the discovery left him feeling “betrayed.”
Mhlungu has denied the claims, calling them false and part of a smear campaign. His attorney, Caleb Mckeller, is handling the matter.
Lebo M’s lawyer, Advocate Brian Msimeki, confirmed a reconciliation process is underway and that ties with Mhlungu have been severed.
