President Cyril Ramaphosa has highlighted South Africa’s important contributions to peacekeeping and conflict resolution worldwide. He noted that the country is widely respected for its efforts in mediating disputes and promoting peaceful solutions in troubled regions.

Speaking about South Africa’s diplomatic role, Ramaphosa emphasized that the nation’s history of involvement in peace processes has earned it global recognition. From supporting negotiations to fostering dialogue, South Africa has helped prevent conflicts and stabilize fragile situations in different parts of the world.

The president said this work is a source of national pride, showcasing South Africa as a country committed to peace. He pointed out that the nation’s experience in overcoming its own challenges has given it valuable insights, which it now shares to assist others.

Ramaphosa also called on South Africans to continue supporting these efforts, both at home and abroad. He stressed that maintaining this role strengthens the country’s international standing and builds trust with other nations.

By playing an active part in global peace initiatives, South Africa not only helps others but also reinforces its reputation as a leader in diplomacy. Ramaphosa’s remarks serve as a reminder of the country’s influence and the importance of sustaining its commitment to a more peaceful world.
