Controversial businesswoman Norma Mngoma has sparked fresh debate about her tumultuous marriage to former minister Malusi Gigaba after comparing him to American rapper P. Diddy in a revealing interview on Showmax’s *Untied*.

The eyebrow-raising remark came as Mngoma reflected on Gigaba’s alleged bedroom habits, suggesting he was always “prepared” for extramarital affairs.

“Whenever you leave, you pack oils. You’re like Puff Daddy [P. Diddy] now. Why would you pack like that? It means whenever you leave home, you are prepared for those things,” Mngoma said in a teaser clip that went viral ahead of the episode’s July 15 release.

The comparison drew immediate attention, given P. Diddy’s own recent controversies involving lawsuits and misconduct allegations. Mngoma’s sarcastic jab appeared to reference Gigaba’s alleged readiness for secret encounters during their marriage, which lasted from 2014 to 2020.

In the full interview, Mngoma reportedly detailed further claims, including Gigaba’s alleged pornography use and infidelity. Her revelations come years after their messy divorce, which played out in both the courts and the media.

Gigaba attempted a last-minute legal bid to block the episode, citing defamation and concerns for their children’s privacy. However, the court dismissed his application, ruling there was no legal basis to stop the broadcast. The move backfired, only fueling public curiosity about the interview.

Social media erupted with reactions, with many accusing Gigaba of inadvertently promoting the show.

“Trying to gag your ex just guarantees everyone will watch. Free PR for Showmax,” one X user commented.

Others questioned Mngoma’s motives, with @Remiazania2 tweeting: “You must fear women. Some can’t let go, even at their children’s expense.”

Despite mixed opinions, *Untied* continues to draw viewers with its unfiltered celebrity revelations. The full episode featuring Mngoma is now available for streaming on Showmax.
