Jub Jub’s Silence Sparks Speculation About His MK Party Support

Molemo “Jub Jub” Maarohanye, the rapper and TV host who once loudly backed the uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party, has gone quiet—and people are taking notice.

Earlier this year, Jub Jub made waves when he switched his support from the EFF to Jacob Zuma’s MK Party. He was often seen campaigning in MK-branded clothing, even posing with Zuma at Nkandla. But now, as the party faces internal conflicts, his sudden silence has raised questions.

The MK Party, which gained momentum in the 2024 elections, has recently been dealing with leadership disputes and public infighting. While the movement once appeared united, some early supporters—like Jub Jub—have faded from the political scene.

Known for his outspoken personality, Jub Jub has not commented on the party’s recent struggles. He hasn’t posted about the MK Party on social media, worn its merchandise, or made any public appearances in support. This has led to speculation: Has he stepped back, or is he quietly distancing himself?

Some believe he’s avoiding the drama, while others wonder if he’s reconsidering his political stance—something he’s done before. His supporters argue that he may just be focusing on his music and TV work instead of politics.

For now, Jub Jub’s absence from the MK Party’s activities remains unexplained. Whether it’s loyalty, strategy, or a quiet exit, only he knows the answer. Until he speaks up, the speculation will continue.
