Celebrations are in full swing for Akhonamathemba Mbele, popularly known as Sweet Guluva, after he was crowned the winner of *Big Brother Mzansi* Season 5: Umlilo. The 23-year-old student, model, artist, football player, and barber from Cape Town walked away with the show’s grand prize of R2 million, cementing his place as a fan favorite and a household name.

Sweet Guluva’s journey on the reality TV show captivated audiences across the country, with his charm, versatility, and relatable personality earning him widespread support. Throughout the competition, he trended on social media as fans rallied behind him, cheering him on as he navigated the challenges and dynamics of the Big Brother house.

The season featured 24 housemates from various parts of South Africa, all vying for the coveted title and life-changing prize.
