SABC’s Durban-based radio station, Ukhozi FM, has revealed its highly anticipated 2025/26 line-up, featuring the return of beloved personalities and the introduction of fresh talent. Among the notable comebacks is actress and radio host Sthandwa Nzuza, who will take over the Chillaz show on Saturdays from 3pm to 6pm. Nzuza, who previously hosted Weekend Afternoon Drive, is set to bring her signature charm and energy to the new time slot.
Another familiar voice returning to the station is Vusizwe Langa, the renowned isiZulu news anchor. Langa will join Bingelela Mpanza to co-host Sigiya Ngengoma on Saturdays from 9am to 12pm. The show was previously hosted by the late Bheka “Beekay” Mchunu, a legendary figure at Ukhozi FM who passed away in May 2024.
In a notable change, Siya Mhlongo, who faced allegations of assaulting his boyfriend earlier this year, has been dropped from the line-up. Mhlongo will be replaced by Nkosinathi Mshengu, who will host the 8pm–12am slot from Monday to Thursday.
The station is also introducing fresh talent, including Siphiwe Sibiya, the winner of the Winnie Mahlangu Female Presenter Search. Sibiya will host *Kwasa Okungaliyo* on Sunday mornings from 3am to 6am, replacing Nozipho Zulu, who will now host Akulalwa on Saturdays from 12am to 3am.
“As we welcome new talent and celebrate the return of familiar voices, we remain committed to delivering quality content that reflects the rich culture of our listeners,” said Ukhozi FM’s Acting Business Manager, Busani Mthembu.
The new line-up reflects Ukhozi FM’s dedication to blending experienced voices with emerging talent, ensuring a dynamic and engaging listening experience for its audience. With these changes, the station continues to solidify its position as a leading platform for isiZulu culture and entertainment.
