Nigerian rapper 3GAR Baby has confirmed that he was behind the wheel of a McLaren 570S Coupe that crashed in Sea Point, Cape Town, on Saturday, 1 March. The incident, which was caught on camera, has gone viral, sparking widespread discussion about road safety and reckless driving.

The video, shared on social media, shows the luxury sports car—valued at approximately R3 million—speeding down **High-Level Road** before losing control and crashing. Shocking images from the scene depict the rapper sitting on the road with blood dripping from his face, while emergency services attended to him and a passenger, both of whom sustained moderate injuries.

Taking to Instagram, 3GAR Baby shared a selfie from what appears to be a medical facility, expressing his gratitude for surviving the ordeal. He captioned the post, “Nah, small thing remain. Could’ve been all over! I can’t stop thanking God for life.” His message highlighted his relief at escaping what could have been a fatal accident.

Before the crash, several TikTok videos showed the rapper flaunting the same white McLaren, which was completely wrecked in the accident. While fans have expressed relief that 3GAR Baby survived, many have also used the incident as an opportunity to warn against the dangers of reckless driving, particularly in residential areas.

The rapper has not yet provided full details about the cause of the crash, but his focus remains on his gratitude for being alive. The incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of responsible driving and the potential consequences of speeding, especially in high-traffic or residential zones.

As the story continues to circulate online, it has sparked conversations about road safety and the need for greater awareness among drivers, particularly those behind the wheel of high-performance vehicles.
