Prophet Mboro Announces Church Relocation After Katlehong Fire

Prophet Paseka “Mboro” Motsoeneng, the leader of the Incredible Happenings Church, has announced his departure from the church premises in Katlehong, Ekurhuleni, after the tragic loss of the church building in a fire earlier this year. The fire, which occurred in August, was allegedly set by school pupils following a viral incident involving Mboro at Matsediso Primary School, where he was filmed wielding two pangas, while his bodyguard carried a rifle.

During a service on Sunday, November 17, Mboro declared that the church would no longer hold services at the damaged site for the next three weeks, as preparations for the church’s relocation are underway. “Most of the church’s valuables perished in the fire, including the sound system, chairs, and the entire hundred-meter tent structure,” Mboro said, expressing deep sadness over the loss. “I must be honest with you; I’m hurt by the whole incident because the damage amounts to millions.”

The prophet described the site as a “place of shame” following the events but assured his congregation that they are moving forward with optimism. He expressed gratitude for the support of his congregation, who have helped work out a plan to relocate the church. While Mboro did not disclose the exact location of the new venue, he mentioned that the move signifies a positive change for the church.

The church will also be hosting a three-day farewell ceremony from December 6 to 8 to mark the end of an era at the Katlehong premises. “The farewell ceremony will close the final chapter of what used to be our place of worship and miracles,” Mboro said, reflecting on the many healings and breakthroughs that took place at the church before it was burned down.

While the loss of the church’s Katlehong location marks a significant chapter in its history, Mboro remains hopeful for the future, buoyed by the unwavering support of his congregation.
