During a Opening of Parliament Debate, EFF leader Julius Malema directly criticized President Cyril Ramaphosa, accusing him of speaking like a “battle-wounded buffalo” and lacking inspiration in his Opening of Parliament Address.
Malema questioned how the President could repeat a speech that resulted in a decline in electoral support for the ruling party.
Malema also acknowledged the leadership of specific political parties in Parliament, including the uMkhonto weSizwe Party, the African Transformation Movement, the United African Transformation, and the National Coloured Congress.
Furthermore, Malema applauded the South African people for rejecting the former liberation movement, emphasizing their failure to convert political power into economic power over the past 30 years.
