Khama Billiat, the seasoned footballer renowned for his impactful stint in South African football, is contemplating a return to the DStv Premiership following his successful recovery from injury. The 33-year-old, who left a lasting mark during his 13-year career in South Africa, has sparked speculation about a potential swansong season back in familiar territory.

Starting his journey at Ajax Cape Town before pivotal spells with Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs, Billiat amassed a remarkable tally of 97 goals, showcasing his versatility as a supporting striker and on the flanks. Despite challenges, including injury setbacks during his tenure at Chiefs, Billiat remains determined to potentially reach the coveted 100-goal milestone in the Premiership. Currently plying his trade with Yadah FC in Zimbabwe’s Castle Lager Premier Soccer League, Billiat has netted six goals in 10 appearances, underscoring his enduring prowess on the field. Supporters and pundits alike have voiced confidence in his ability to continue performing at the highest level, emphasizing his physical resilience and passion for the game.

“There is absolutely no doubt that Khama can still play football to the best of his abilities,” remarked a close associate, highlighting Billiat’s potential longevity in the sport. With his resurgence in form and fitness, Billiat’s return to the Premiership could mark a fitting chapter in his illustrious career, enticing fans with the prospect of witnessing his enduring talent once more.
