Nonku Williams is multi talented South African entrepreneur, and fashion model and socialite. Nanku is probably one of the most loved television personalities she is part of Real Housewives of Durban. However recently allegations claim that she is getting sued for over 1 million by Peet Vilgeon, for what she allegedly said to Melany Vilgeon during one of the shows episodes. It is alleged that Peet Vilgeon is sueing her for defamation of character.

Nonku is no doubt one of the most glamorous television personalities in the country, one would say her appearance on the Real Housewives of Durban has made the show more entertaining. She has an incredible following on various social media platforms, notable on instagram were she has over seven hundred thousand followers. That is how impactful she is to the show her presents helps increases the shows viewership, because as a prominent influential figure she brings some her followers to the show.

However in my opinion I don’t think it’s fair to sue someone for 1 million just because they said they said something about you. I certainly hope she wins the case and learns from her mistakes because no one is perfect and we have had a slip tongue at some point. I believe everyone has been in a situation where you say something bad or offensive to others, but I don’t think the penalty for the slip of tongue should be 15 million. At the same time I think we all should learn something from this situation, we should be more considerate when we speak of others and think of the harm that the spoken words can cause to the other person. That is just my opinion concerning this issue, well this is your platform you can leave a comment below and share your views.
