In a shocking incident that has left the community of Giyani in disbelief, Pastor Hlamalani Annah Mashele has been accused of heavily assaulting and nearly killing her friend, Mrs. Mhlari, last night in Giyani Section E.

According to reports, Mrs. Mhlari, a regular visitor to Pastor Hlamalani’s home for prayers, visited the pastor last night. The visit took a violent turn when Pastor Hlamalani began coercing her guest to confess about alleged gossip she had heard. It is alleged that Mrs. Mhlari bravely admitted to what she had said, as she had nothing to hide. This admission reportedly enraged Pastor Hlamalani, leading her to lock all the doors and the gate before starting to assault Mrs. Mhlari.

Witnesses describe a harrowing scene where Pastor Hlamalani, in a fit of anger, beat her friend severely and threatened to kill her. The situation escalated further when Pastor Hlamalani went to another room to fetch an object, allegedly with the intent to kill Mrs. Mhlari. In a miraculous turn of events, a child staying with Pastor Hlamalani managed to steal a remote control and open the gate, allowing Mrs. Mhlari to escape.

Fleeing for her life, Mrs. Mhlari sought refuge at the local police station where she reported the assault. The police promptly took her to the nearest hospital for treatment of her injuries. The case is now under police investigation.

Pastor Hlamalani Annah Mashele, who is also an employee at the Department of Health in Giyani’s Old Parliament building and hails from Mukhomi village in Malamulele, is now at the center of this disturbing incident. The news has sent shockwaves through both her local community and her congregation.

Community members are struggling to come to terms with the allegations against Pastor Hlamalani, a figure many looked up to for spiritual guidance. The Department of Health has yet to release a statement regarding the incident, and it remains unclear what actions, if any, will be taken concerning her employment.

This incident raises serious questions about the conduct of those in positions of spiritual and community leadership and highlights the potential for abuse of trust. As the investigation unfolds, the community will be watching closely to see how justice is served in this troubling case.

Further updates will follow as more information becomes available and as the legal process progresses. The police have urged anyone with additional information about the incident to come forward to assist in their investigation.
