The man in question, whose bank account showed a deposit of R800,000 the day following the tragic demise of Kiernan “AKA” Forbes, asserts that the timing of the cash transfers to his co-accused was purely coincidental. Despite the seemingly suspicious correlation between the deposit and the event, the individual maintains innocence, claiming no connection between the two occurrences.

According to reports, the deposited sum of R800,000 was swiftly followed by payments to his alleged accomplices. This sequence of financial transactions raised eyebrows among investigators, who initially suspected a potential link to the untimely passing of the prominent musician and public figure, AKA. However, the individual at the center of these transactions vehemently denies any deliberate association with the event or its aftermath.

In a statement issued through legal representation, the individual explained that the receipt of the significant deposit was unrelated to the tragic incident involving Kiernan Forbes. Instead, they assert that the timing was coincidental, attributing the financial activity to independent factors and transactions unrelated to the events surrounding AKA’s passing.

Furthermore, the individual emphasized their cooperation with authorities and expressed a willingness to assist in any investigations to clarify the situation fully. They underscored their commitment to transparency and adherence to the law, asserting their confidence in being exonerated from any wrongdoing.

Despite the individual’s assertions of innocence and the purported lack of direct evidence linking the deposited funds to the circumstances surrounding AKA’s death, authorities continue to scrutinize the financial trail for any potential connections or irregularities. The investigation remains ongoing as law enforcement officials seek to unravel the complex web of financial transactions and establish a clearer understanding of the events leading up to and following the tragic incident.
