Economic Freedom Fighters leader’s runny nose has made rounds on social media. Following the incident, Julius Malema has come forward to address the speculation that he was using cocaine.
Responding to the viral video, the red berets leader reassured his followers, saying, “Thank you so much for your concern, fellow brothers and sisters; I don’t have flu. The heavy wind and rain activated my sinuses, and I thought the rain was running through my face. I was heavily attacked. Otherwise, that is the only thing haters can point to; all was super dope. Thank you KZN and people of South Africa, history was made.”
The video, which garnered attention for its unusual content, prompted various speculations on social media platforms, with some suggesting that he might be using cocaine. However, the Economic Freedom Fighters leader dismissed these claims, attributing his runny nose to the weather conditions at the time.
His response emphasises his commitment to addressing concerns from the public while maintaining a positive outlook on recent events. The incident has sparked debates online about the scrutiny public figures face and the impact of social media in shaping public perceptions.
