For many years now, people have been expecting a change from the African National Congress. There have been several complaints about the poor service delivery that the African National Congress gives to people. But now that elections are around the corner, all the political parties, including the ANC, are trying to make up for the promises they failed to keep. They are going around making small efforts to convince people that they are the right party to vote for.

Yesterday, Ramaphosa, together with Sihle Zikalala, was handing over one of many Welisizwe Rural Bridges currently being built in several rural areas around South Africa. According to the reports, people didn’t. know that Ramaphosa would be one of the government officials that would come to hand over the bridge since he wasn’t mentioned on the poster. People came out at large to attend a mini-address just before the handover.

Unfortunately, when it was Ramaphosa’s time to address, people started leaving the venue, calling him a Lier. In a video that is trending on social media, a large number of people could be seen walking away from the venue, mumbling. It seems like people have had enough of Ramaphosa. All over social media, this video is trending as people support the idea that this person did the right thing by leaving.

In short, the ANC collected people around and promised them something else, not knowing they were called for Ramaphosa. When they realised that Ramaphosa would be giving up his key note address, they all left before he started speaking.

It seems like Ramaphosa’s time is over; people are rejecting him from all sides. The problem with these ANC leaders is that when they want votes, they promise people things that they can’t even deliver. Now people are tired of being lied to. It seems like the ANC will have a problem this year.
