In a poignant message shared on social media, Lungelo Mpangase, the lead actress of the popular e.tv show “Nikiwe,” expressed her heartfelt gratitude as the series approaches its conclusion. The actress conveyed her appreciation to the show’s founders, Thomas Gumede and Lungelo Radu, along with the entire television station for the invaluable opportunity.

“Nikiwe” has been a mainstay on e.tv, captivating audiences since its debut in April. Last week, news circulated that the show is set to conclude at the beginning of the upcoming year, marking the end of its impactful run.

Lungelo Mpangase, who brought the character Nikiwe to life, penned a heartfelt letter on social media, reflecting on the profound lessons she gained through the role. In the letter addressed to Nikiwe, the actress expressed a deep emotional connection to the character and gratitude for the chance to embody her.

“Unfortunately, today we are parting, beautiful lady. I hope you won’t feel that I abandoned you because we have become good friends in the past months; it has been a blessing,” wrote Lungelo, capturing the emotional journey she experienced with her character.

The actress extended her thanks to the entire cast and crew, especially acknowledging the collaborative efforts and the blessing of working alongside Kenneth Nkosi. The letter resonated with fans and fellow actors, garnering messages of support and appreciation for the work done on “Nikiwe.”

Thomas Gumede, one of the founders of the show, also expressed his gratitude on Instagram, thanking everyone who contributed to the project. As “Nikiwe” approaches its conclusion, the cast and creators are taking time to reflect on the impact the show has had on both the audience and those involved in its production.

The farewell to “Nikiwe” marks the end of an era for fans who have followed the show’s compelling narrative, and the cast and crew are ensuring that the closing chapters are filled with gratitude, reflection, and appreciation for the enriching experience the show has provided.
