Julius Malema and his Economic Freedom Fighters be at Moses Mabhida stadium in Durban in KwaZulu-Natal, launching its manifesto on on the 10th of February 2024. But Malema have faced backlash from Ngizwe Mchunu a former SABC 1 traditional music presenter. Ngizwe insulted Julius Malema on video that is doing rounds on social media.
Ngizwe says Malema is crazy for saying the Springboks rugby team is a symbol of apartheid. He went on to say, Malema doesn’t know Zulu, he only speak English. He heard that he is coming to KZN but he will not succeed because he is the border gate of KZN. He can only load Shangane people and bring them there, no Zulu person will attend his event at Moses Mabhida stadium. If wants to launch, his party, he must launch it in Seshego, where he is. Not in KZN. If he wants people of KZN, he must ask them from him.
Ngizwe Mchunu did not start being tribalistic today. He has been, but some of these people calling him out today thought it was funny cause he was insulting president Ramaphosa. Ngizwe dealt a heavy tribalistic blow to Mkhonto Wesizwe party. Their quest to be a party with national appeal is thwarted because Ngizwe gave South Africans the impression that MK is a Zulu nation’s party, that is regional.
