Xolani Khumalo has quashed rumors surrounding his purported involvement in the newly established Johannesburg Metropolitan police department JMPD Tactical Reaction Unit and crime prevention and combating Unit. In a clear and concise statement, Khumalo emphatically declared, I am not working for the City of Johannesburg public safety. The reports are a lie.

The denial from Khumalo comes amidst swirling speculations and unverified reports linking him to these specialized units within the JMPD. His straightforward response aims to set the record straight and dispel any misinformation circulating about his professional affiliations. The clarification is pivotal, considering the potential impact of false information on Khumalo’s reputation and public perception. In the realm of public safety and law enforcement, accuracy and transparency are paramount, making it crucial for individuals involved to address and correct any misleading narratives promptly.

As Khumalo distances himself from the alleged roles within the JMPD units, the incident underscores the importance of responsible reporting and fact-checking in disseminating information, especially when it concerns individuals’ professional associations. The statement from Xolani Khumalo serves as a testament to the necessity of accurate communication in navigating public discourse and preserving the integrity of individuals implicated in such matters.
