The liberal world is moving towards the concept of no human being is illegal. There is no such thing as an illegal human being. The phrase alone is dehumanizing. The issue of Zimbabwe’s Exemption Permit is real hot one. Though some black South Africans feels like they are hard done by the ANC. This ZEP have been dragging on and on. Some believes beneficiaries of cheap labour are in charge of everything in this country.

In June this year, The High Court has declared “unlawful, unconstitutional and invalid” the decision by Minister Aaron Motsoaledi, the Minister of Home affairs to terminate the Zimbabwean Exemption Permit (ZEP). Motsoaledi was not happy about the court’s decision. He assured South Africans that he will do everything in his power to ensure that Immigration Laws of SA are enforced without fear or favour

Some NGOs and Zimbabweans activists in South Africa are saying the cancelation of Zimbabwean Exemption Permit (ZEP), leaving Zimbabweans in this country dangling for another six months, facing challenges obtaining bank cards, drivers licenses, and having to spend a lot of money on waiver applications.
