Ukhozi FM presenter Irvin Sihlophe has passed away

Ukhozi FM has officially confirmed the passing away of Irvin Sihlophe who was one of its presenters. Sihlophe who hailed from Harding, passed away after he was admitted in hospital early this week. He was 43.

Irvin Sihlophe, who hosts and produce sports shows on the Ukhozi FM, suffered a stroke and was admitted in hospital on Friday, 3 November. Ukhozi FM Station manager Sbongi Ngcobo confirmed he passed away last night due to a second stroke and couldn’t make it, he was admitted at Eddington Hospital, Durban.

“It’s with a heavy heart that I come today to announce the passing away of our beloved Irvin Xolile Sihlophe. Irvin was our colleague, we worked with him, and at the time of his passing he was a producer of education,” says Ngcobo.

“Sihlophe also worked in various departments while at Ukhozi FM. When he first arrived at the Ukhozi FM, he was in the religious departments. He was a humble man, and he did many tasks without asking for compensation, and this is the kind of heart he had,” she adds.
