An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen during a robbery in Amoutana – KZN this afternoon (Tuesday).
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call for assistance at approximately 20:42. On arrival, Reaction Officers met with the victim. He explained that he withdrew the Stokvel savings this afternoon before proceeding shopping.
When he drove onto his property he was confronted by five (5) suspects. Three (3) robbers produced firearms and deprived the 47 year old victim of the cash. The suspects disconnected a TV (picture 1) but abandoned it on a sofa before they fled in a silver Toyota Corolla (registration unknown).
The victim was not injured.
