Thembekile Mrototo is a radio and television news anchor, best known for his role on 947’s successful breakfast show ‘Anele and the Club, presenting news and live events on eNCA and a presenter on the new show called Unfollowed on Show Max. The show interviews public figures who were canceled on social media and lets the viewers decide if the treatment in each case was deserved.
He began his career on Bloemfontein-based community radio station, Motheo FM when he was just 19 years old. It was not a surprising career move for a young man who had always enjoyed the attention that came with being on stage or public speaking throughout his school years.
Molemo Katleho Maarohanye (known professionally as Jub Jub; born 29 June 1980) is a South African Media Personality who is a successful hip hop artist and TV Host of popular shows such as Uyajola 9/9, You Promised to Marry Me and Uthando Noxolo which air on Mojalove DSTV Channel 157. Jub Jub is a child star who was discovered in 1991 when he partook in a popular Coca-Cola TV advertisement that featured soccer legend Doctor Khumalo.
A few months ago Jub Jub made headlines, this happened after he was accused of raping, Amanda duPont, Masechaba, and other women. This got people very angry saying Jub Jub must cancel from his television programs. Ever since what happened, people haven’t heard what Jub Jub had to say about this allegation, which is why he ended up coming to the show called Unfollowed to tell his side of the story but by the look of things, it didn’t go according to the way people expected. During this interview Jub Jub was asked why he had to say such things about women on the MacG podcast? he then answered and said he thought he was just hanging out with the guys talking, he didn’t think things would come this far.
In the second video, Thembekile asks Jub Jub about the rape case that was opened against him, but Jub Jub couldn’t answer as he feels like Thembekile is asking nonsense and by the look of things is allegedly accusing Jub Jub of rape, and that made him uncomfortable and that’s probably why he got angry.
after these videos were shared, people were not pleased at all saying Jub Jub shouldn’t have done that interview. He is where he is today facing rape allegations because of such interviews because he ends up saying things he shouldn’t have said.
