I Will Mop The Floor With Shivambu -Malema blows hot over rumours that Shivambu will dethrone him

In the world of South African politics, the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) have always been a force to be reckoned with. At the center of this dynamic political party is its charismatic leader, Julius Malema. Recent developments within the party suggest that Malema is keen on solidifying his grip on power, even if it means going head-to-head with his own comrades.

One intriguing aspect of this power struggle is Malema’s relationship with Floyd Shivambu, the EFF’s Deputy President and a prominent figure within the party. It seems that some individuals with aspirations of contesting for the EFF presidency have sought Shivambu’s support. Malema, ever the astute politician, has responded to these overtures with a rather cryptic statement, “he will use Shivambu to mob the floor”

One interpretation of Malema’s words is that he sees Shivambu as a valuable ally who can help him maintain control over the party. By encouraging others to vie for leadership, Malema can ensure that the EFF remains a vibrant and competitive political force while still retaining his influence at the top. This approach could serve to strengthen the party’s internal democracy and provide opportunities for fresh perspectives to emerge.

However, Malema’s assurance may also be seen as a shrewd strategy to divide and conquer. By endorsing potential rivals, he could effectively split their support base, making it easier for him to secure victory in any internal party elections. Malema has always been known for his tactical prowess, and this move could be just another example of his political cunning.
